Gizem is a graduate of Northeastern University School of Public Policy (Boston), where she received her MA in Political Science with a focus on International Relations. Previously, she completed a dual-degree program in SUNY Binghamton University and Bilkent University where she majored in Global and International Relations. During her studies, she has interned in various NGO’s both in Turkey and the U.S. Upon graduation, she interned in International Peace and Security Institute where she helped to bring together students and peace leaders across the globe, especially from conflict and post-conflict countries, for a training program in Italy. Before joining our center, she was a research intern in the Turkish Program at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy.
