We particularly encourage applications from researchers working on international relations, peace and conflict studies, foreign policy analysis, and related fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our visiting fellowships provide academic affiliation with CFPPR rather than financial support. We welcome researchers who can fund their own stay, as well as those interested in developing research projects and applying for external funding through CFPPR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We offer two types of fellowships:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Junior Fellowship<\/strong> is intended for PhD candidates, early-career researchers, and non-tenured scholars. We particularly welcome applicants who plan to conduct fieldwork in T\u00fcrkiye or would benefit from working closely with researchers at CFPPR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Senior Fellowship<\/strong> is open to established academics wishing to spend time in T\u00fcrkiye for research, academic collaboration, or a sabbatical.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fellowships may last up to one year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What We Offer<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CFPPR is based at Bilkent University and brings together researchers working across a wide range of topics in international relations and related fields. We aim to provide visiting fellows with a welcoming academic environment where they can pursue their own research while exchanging ideas and building connections with other scholars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Visiting fellows receive academic affiliation with CFPPR and are encouraged to take part in the Centre&#8217;s seminars, workshops, and other academic activities. They may also have access to office space and research assistance, depending on availability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CFPPR does not provide funding for visiting fellows. Applicants are therefore expected either to have their own financial support or to seek external funding. Researchers wishing to submit grant applications through CFPPR are welcome to discuss their proposals with us. Such arrangements are subject to the Centre&#8217;s approval.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Selection and Application<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The fellowship programme is competitive, and applications are reviewed through a highly selective process. We consider the quality of the proposed research, its relevance to CFPPR&#8217;s areas of interest, and the opportunities it offers for academic exchange and collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To apply, please send your CV and a cover letter to <a href=\"mailto:fppr@bilkent.edu.tr\"><strong>fppr@bilkent.edu.tr<\/strong><\/a>, with &#8220;Visiting Fellowship&#8221; in the subject line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your cover letter should briefly explain your research plans, the purpose and expected duration of your visit, your proposed schedule, and how you intend to fund your stay. If you are interested in applying for external funding through CFPPR, please include some information about the proposed project and funding opportunity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>There is no fixed deadline.
