Dr. Özgecan Eskiduman

Dr. Özgecan Eskiduman is a postdoctoral researcher at the Center for Foreign Policy and Peace Research, affiliated with the İhsan Doğramacı Peace Foundation. She received her Ph.D. in International Relations from Hacettepe University. From October 2025 to March 2026, she was an Ernst Mach Fellow and postdoctoral researcher at the Austrian Institute for International Affairs, where she continues to serve as an Affiliated Researcher. Her doctoral research focuses on Israeli security narratives and ontological security in the context of the Palestinian Uprisings. Her research interests include critical security studies, foreign policy analysis, peace and conflict studies, terrorism, identity politics, narrative analysis, Middle East politics, and Israeli foreign policy. She has also worked as a researcher on several nationally funded projects in Türkiye on counterterrorism, social polarisation, and migration.
