The 7th All Azimuth Workshop was jointly organized by the Center for Foreign Policy and Peace Research and Yildiz Technical University (YTU) Political Science and International Relations Department on October 15, 2022. The workshop was held on the Davutpasa Campus of YTU in Istanbul, Turkey.

This year’s annual workshop, entitled “How to Build a Better Discipline,” explores two themes. Firstly, it seeks to identify emergent debates within the Global IR literature to assess promising avenues of research, as well as identify degenerative trends. Secondly, through a critical appraisal of the field, the workshop invites its participants to think about the best ways to advance Global IR research, with an emphasis on identifying best practices.

The papers presented at this workshop will be published in the Center’s journal All Azimuth.
